The CatGenie rated #44 on Gizmodo's Top 50 Worst Gadget Gallery.

http://gizmodo.com/5431759/worst-gadgets-gallery/gallery/44

I thought about picking up one of these once but the number of cats that allow me to live with them made it unfeasible.

Anybody get the CatGenie and what was your experience?

Their review:
CatGenie:
The CatGenie really does grant three wishes, assuming those wishes are:
1. For a litter box that does all the cleaning for me automatically!
2. For that automated litter box to be a gigantic, slow, smelly, expensive, power-sucking monstrosity.
3. Intense buyer's remorse.

I came home from a short vacation to a package from my (not so) secret santa!

Harley was very pleased with her new toys and is currently passed out from playing with them. Harley and I both say thank you to[info]12daysofrain  :)

This is actually a buddy of mine and his cat (damned if I know her name), he used to work at the chip company and quit a few months ago after 2 years, so.. Yeah.

Anyway, he's pretty funny, and sometimes his cat (whom he rescued as a stray despite allergies to cats, bless him!), gets in on his vids too.. here's a pretty good one. Since the Holidays are here and people are getting plastered, apparently sometimes, so can the cat....

Is it bad I spent more on Harry for Crassmess™ than my husband? Admittedly, Harry is easier to shop for and WAY cuter! :P

Petbarn here had Greenie treats on for $7 a bag, which is a steal! It seems to be the only cat treats he likes.

Do you buy your cats Xmas gifts?

With the festivity in the air, our furry friends have made wishes for all too:
Kiiro: May you always look good from far and even better up close.
Miki: May you stay warm and snug.
Momo: May you alway be grace under fire and  always put your best foot forward.
Nene: May you get enough restful sleep.
Tiger: May you always have something to wag your tail about.
Chilli: May you always enjoy good food  and still have an ass you're proud of.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice for dealing with cats and arthritis. The vet today suggested a special cat formula (from medi-cal which I cannot find on their website) for arthritis. I was wondering if there are other foods out there (hes already on grain free food) or anything else that could help.

THANKS!

Other than montrose bowl (i called and they are booked)
are there any bowling places that provide private lanes for a party? i'm looking for something close to pasadena or glendora.
T.I.A.

p.s. 300 in pasadena will be my last resort.
i wanted something like montrose bowl where they have a small number of lanes and basically only one party at a time.

I posted last week about my sister-in-law's kitty, Burton needing surgery because he ate a bunch of string.

Well, he came through just fine. They had to remove part of his intestine, and he'll need to eat food for "sensitive systems" for the rest of his life, but is otherwise unscathed. He was able to come home on Sunday night, and he's since eaten some wet food and pooped. So he's got both input and output. XD

Thanks for all your good thoughts.

Please remember
that Love, Peace and Happiness are more important than material things.
Time with loved ones and friends beats running up a huge debt to try and
make others happy in December of every year. The gift of togetherness
beats any material gift that can ever be given and should be celebrated all year long, in my opinion.

Its not a problem, its more of something that has me sometimes laughing at my cat.
She refuses to drink regular tap water.
If I don't fill her water dish with the filtered water, she just ignores her water dish. Filtered water, she'll drink more than enough.
Thing being...our tiny little town in on well water, that actually tastes pretty darn good.
